This wonderful technology is rapidly changing many industries around the world and therefore the workplaces of so many employees. The 3D Printer is also becoming a more common household item like a television or computer which many students are using.

Practical PD has developed a full day workshop designed for basic to intermediate 3D printing skills ability levels of teachers. We explore the uses of the 3D Printer in our current world and how they are dramatically changing our future. The practical applications of the 3D Printer are explored in industries such as construction, medical, engineering, design and more..

With a knowledge of why there is such an importance on understanding the practicalities of the 3D Printer, we demonstrate how the 3D printer functions form unpacking from the box, to set up and then printing using the software. When exploring the software teachers gain an understanding of how the 3D Printer can successfully integrate into any curriculum area.

Practical PD prides itself on the ability to work with teachers to develop practical, relevant and highly motivating activities to take back to the classroom and implement immediately into the curriculum to provide the students with amazing learning opportunities.
