Lesson 1: Learning how to use the Cubetto, Discuss Rules and Safety, learning what each symbol means- LET THEM PLAY!!! (Problem Solving)
Lesson 2: Learning how to use the Cubetto (Problem Solving), learning what each symbol means- LET THEM PLAY!!! Create own story using the mats (Retell introduction)
Lesson 3: Introduce the story- discuss characters, setting, problem, solution.
Lesson 4: Introduce story maps, Create a story map.
Lesson 5: Incorporate Cubetto with story maps- allow students time to play and use Cubetto.
Lesson 6: Creating own code to represent the retell of the story.
Lesson 7: Putting it all together (Retell the story using Cubetto- use iPads to record student retelling the story).
- Change the ending of the story
- Add new characters
- Create own story and make a new story map
